Jordan Ayew Lorient Action

Ghana striker Jordan Ayew found the back of the net and provided a vital assist to help Lorient come back from a goal down to secure a 2-1 home victory over 10-man Caen in the French Ligue 1 on Saturday evening.

The 23-year-old attacker set up teammate Raphael Guerreiro in the 43rd minute as the Portuguese grabbed the equalizer to cancel out Herve Bazile’s opener.

Back from recess, the Black Stars forward gave Lorient the lead in the 60th minute after capitalizing on an assist from defender Vincent Le Goff.

Ayew, who has now scored 8 goals in 22 league appearances for Lorient this season, lasted the entire duration of the game.

It was the former Marseille and Sochaux player’s 150th game in the French Ligue 1.
