Sellas Tetteh Pensive

Black Satellites head coach, Sellas Tetteh says it is too early to promise Ghanaians of the much-awaited trophy of the African Youth Championship Tournament.

According to him, the final group game against Mali will prepare the team for the semi- finals.

“The Mali game is very important to us because it will prepare us towards our next matches, so I am taking it very seriously” Tetteh said.

He said the objective of the team is to win gold but added it was too early to promise Ghanaians the trophy since the tournament is still in the early stages.

Tetteh also admitted that there is still work to be done on the team and the technical bench is working on correcting those mistakes.

“You must be patient with us, we are still working on the team, no country can have a perfect team”.

Striker Benjamin Tetteh will miss the game through injury.

Ghana will meet Senegal in the semi-finals if they top group B or will have to revive their rivalry with Nigeria if they place second.
