Ghana Police Ready

The Municipal Chief Executive of Ketu South , Pascal Lamptey has assured residents of Denu South of maximum security while police search for escapees in their custody.

Residents raised security concerns after the suspects made away with 2 AK47 guns from the Denu Police Cells.

Volta Regional correspondent, Ivy Sertodzie earlier reported that security has been tightened within the country and Security men are on the watch for these suspects, but there are no signs of them yet.

However, MCE Lamptey said police from Ho and Accra have mounted road blocks in specific areas to enable them capture the suspects.

“We have given out their photographs to police in Togo and other surrounding area to assist the police to arrest the escapees,” he added.

Pascal Lamptey was optimistic the escapees will be captured in the shortest possible time.
