GFA gives Hearts, Kotoko $60,000 ahead of continental matches

The Ghana Football Association has given Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko $ 30,000 each as the two clubs prepare for their respective continental competitions this weekend.

The amount is to support the two clubs who are representing Ghana in the CAF Club Competitions this year.

Asante Kotoko will open their Caf Champions League campaign in Algeria on Saturday as guests of El Eulma whiles Hearts of Oak host Senegalese side Olympique de Ngor in a CAF Confederation Cup match at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday

Kotoko on the other hand were drawn bye after their Sierra Leonean opponents pulled out of the competition.

The GFA has also wished the two First Capital Plus Premier League sides well as they battle to reclaim their glory on the continental stage.
