Schalke chief Horst Heldt has insisted Kevin-Prince Boateng will stay at Veltins-Arena amid growing reports linking him away from the club.
Boateng is believed to be out of favour at the club and will be sold at the end of the current campaign.
It has been widely reported that Italian side AS Roma are lining up a move for the Ghanaian international with Juventus lurking.
The 28-year-old has struggled for form this season at the Royal Blues but manager Horst Heldt insists the former Tottenham star is going nowhere.
“There are no signals from either Schalke 04 or Kevin-Prince Boateng to want to end our contract prematurely. There are also no inquiries from other clubs, so we have not dealt with the subject, he said
“He has one more year on his contract, and I can assure that from both parties there is not the intention of an earlier departure.”
Boateng returned to the Bundesliga this season after spending three years at AC Milan.
