The Private Newspaper Publishers Association of Ghana (PRINPAG) is organizing a seminar this morning at the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel, North Ridge, Accra under the theme: ‘Sensitizing the Media On The Role Of Money & Capital Market (s).’
Under the kind sponsorship of Ecobank Ghana, PRINPAG has invited experts to deliver papers on the above subject matter.
Deputy Managing Director of Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE), Ekow Afedzi will deliver a paper on the topic: ‘Understanding the Capital Market.’
Also John Nyaaba of the Treasury Department of ECOBANK (GH) will speak on the topic: ‘The Money Market and the Role of Financial Institutions.’
The seminar will attract major stakeholders in the media, including the Chairman of the National Media Commission (NMC), Kabral Blay-Amihera, the General Manager of the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Bernard Otabil, Director-General of Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), Major (rtd) Don Chebe, the President of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA), Dr. Affail Monney and the President of the Ghana Independent Broadcasters Association (GIBA), Akwasi Agyemang.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Western Publications, who doubles as the President of PRINPAG, Gina Blay, would chair the event.
