CAF Confederation Cup: Olympique de Ngor land in Accra ahead of Hearts of Oak duel


Accra Hearts of Oak opponent in the CAF Confederation Cup, Olymique de Ngor arrived in Ghana from Senegal on Wednesday evening ahead of their first leg knock out round of the CAF Confederation cup against their Ghanaian counterpart on Sunday.

The first batch of 25 man contingent comprising of 20 players and 5 technical men have arrived in Accra with the second batch of 25 persons including 5 club officials and 20 supporters will also in Accra on Friday.

They were driven straight from the airport to the Royal African Hotel (Dutch Hotel) in Nungua where they are lodging during their stay in Ghana.

The Senegalese side ahead of their trip to Ghana received financial boost of 1.5 million CFA Franc which is equivalent to GHC 8,682.00 from their FA.

Allsports.com.gh can also confirm that the Ghana Football Association have also giving Hearts of Oak $30,000 as financial support ahead of their duel against the Ngor based club.

However, per the training schedule of Olympique de Ngor, they will train at the Achimota school park on Thursday in the afternoon before training at the match venue- Accra sports stadium on Saturday.

Olympique de Ngor eliminated Cameroonian side Unisport on a 3-2 aggregate while the Ghanaian side beat AS Police from Benin on a 1-0 aggregate prior to the knockout stage.
