Ballet dancer: Hans Adu Sarpei to appear on ‘Let’s Dance’


Hans Adu Sarpei may be eyeing a new career on the dancing stage, after the former Black Stars left back was spotted taking practical ballet dancing lessons with Austrian, professional dancer Kathrin Menzinger on Tuesday ahead of the main show at the weekend.

Sarpei who played all five Ghana games at the the 2010 FIFA World Cup, has been taking his soccer coaching lessons and has a UEFA Pro License certificate, qualifying the Tema born ex-footballer for any coaching role in German football.

But it appears the immediate future for the 38 year is in ballet dancing with Sarpei due to appear on the 26 year old Menzinger’s famous ‘Let’s Dance’ TV show on Friday.

“Previously, he balanced a ball, now he makes great ballet … Yesterday was Hans Sarpei (38) while training for “Let’s Dance” (Friday at 20:15 clock, RTL),” wrote famous German news website, Bild.

It added: The ex-footballer goes with professional dancer Kathrin Menzinger (26) from Austria on the dance floor. She prefers to work with athletes. Menzingerstraße: “The one can come down really hard, work out right.”

The former Ghana international retired
He played for Bayer Leverkusen, Schalke 04 and VfL Wolfsburg.
