M’bour, (Senegal), Mar. 7, GNA – The Confederation of African Football (CAF), has appointed a Senegalese referee to handle the African Youth Championship (AYC), match involving Ghana and Zambia.
Daouda Gueye will take charge of the match, Group B’s second to be played at the Caroline Faye Stadium in M’bour on Thursday.
Gueye will be assisted on the lines by compatriot Ababacar Sene and Issa Yaya from Chad.
The fourth referee Aurelin Jusenkou Wandji is from Cameroon with his compatriot Alim Konate Aboubacaras acting at the Match Commissioner.
Ghana is chasing a fourth continental glory at the continental gathering of eight teams.
The Black Satellites lead Group B after beating South Africa 2-0 on open day on Monday.
The tournament serves the qualifiers for Africa’s four representatives for the next FIFA World Youth Championship in New Zealand in May.
