Police to receive made-in-Ghana Kantanka vehicles

Katanka Automobiles, manufacturers of made-in-Ghana vehicles will soon present a brand new pick-up truck to the Ghana Police.

The Chief Executive Officer of Kantan Automobiles, Kwadwo Safo Jnr told citifmonline.com that the vehicle would be handed over to the Police Service for test driving “by next week after which they will give us feedback and approval to manufacture more for them.”

“The Police are excited as well as the general public since this is a great step in curbing crimes in Ghana,” he added.

Katanka Automobiles is owned by renowned Ghanaian industrialist, Apostle Kwadwo Safo, the founder of Kristo Asafo Mission.

The company earlier revealed its intentions of releasing its new range of cars for sale.

This would be after the Ghana Standards Authority gives them the go ahead to do so.
