Teenage striker Johnson Oppong Owusu hopes to secure more playing time at his new club Inter Allies in the Ghana Premier League.

The Black Starlets forward joined Inter Allies early this season after propelling Dreams FC to the national Division One.

“The Premier league is step by step. It is very different from the Division One and the Division Two, but I’m determined to make my mark,” Oppong told Goal.

“I have already made my debut. I played 80 minutes against BA United and I hope to get more playing time and score goals for my team in the ongoing campaign,” he said.

The 17-year-old has already represented Ghana with the U23 team and hopes to sign for a foreign club someday.

“I thank God for giving me the chance. I want to work harder and travel abroad to play for a big side,” he said.

Oppong was the top scorer at Dreams FC and Peace Babies, where he netted 18 goals in his last season.
