Managing Director of Division One outfit Dreams FC, Kurt E.S. Okraku says striker Benjamin Tetteh has started well at the ongoing African Youth Championship (AYC) in Senegal.

Tetteh scored as Ghana defeated South Africa 2-0 on Monday and Okraku told footy-ghana.com that the Dreams FC forward will blossom because of his undoubted potential.

“It is a good beginning for him. We at Dreams FC do not doubt his potential at all and we believe he will blossom into a great player.”

Some critics expressed the view that Tetteh has trying too hard to impress and as a result took some wrong options during the game, but Okraku believes that it was because the striker was asked to defend from the front.

“He was deployed as the lone out and out striker and still had to defend for the team. On the score of it being a first game, I think he did well and he will grow in the competition.”
