Kumasi Asante Kotoko has finally parted company with Coach Mas-ud Didi Dramani, Communications Manager, Kwaku Ahenkorah told the club’s website.
‘We have parted company with Didi by mutual consent. It is a tough decision but the two parties believe it is best for us. We wish Coach Dramani well in future endeavours’.
Didi Dramani, who led Kotoko to two league title triumphs and an FA Cup win in his almost three-season stint, was asked by the Board of Directors of Kotoko to proceed on leave in February following a string of disappointing results.
The coach subsequently responded to the Board’s letter by thanking them for the opportunity to serve. He as well demanded that a deal is reached on his future with the club as it glaringly showed that, he had lost favour with the Kotoko.
On Monday, the Communications Manager disclosed that, ‘a severance package has been arranged for the coach’ adding that, Didi Dramani’s tenure at Kotoko was thus ending.
However, the ending of Didi Dramani’s marriage with Kotoko has now paved way for the appointment of former AsGold and Hearts of Oak trainer, David Duncan.
