Ghana midfielder Michael Otoo was named Man of the Match in Monday’s 2-0 win over South Africa in their 2015 African Youth Championship Group B opener.
The 17-year-old was influential in middle of the park as the Black Satellites neutralized the Amajita.
Otoo, who plays for Division One League side Unistars FC, took full advantage of the unavailability of Kofi Yeboah who was suspended.
He is expected to maintain his position in the starting line-up when Yeboah returns for Thursday’s second Group match against Zambia, who lost 1-0 to Mali.
