Trabzonspor attacker Abdul Majeed Waris made his much-awaited injury return after on Monday evening.
The The 23-year-old came off the bench to play the last twelve minutes of Trabzonspor’s 5-1 victory over Mersin in the Turkish Super League.
The former BK Hacken goal-poacher suffered the injury while featuring for Trabzonspor against Eski?ehirspor in the Turkish Spor Toto League on December 29th.
Waris joined Trabzonspor in 2014 and quickly established himself as a first-team regular, but has already reportedly told the club’s management that he wants to leave in the Summer transfer window.
He spent the second half of last season on loan at Ligue 1 relegated side Valenciennes where he scored nine goals in 16 matches.
