AS Roma are reportedly lining up a bid for ex-Tottenham midfielder and Schalke star Kevin-Prince Boateng.
According to Calcio Mercato, the Ghana international will be allowed to quit the Bundesliga outfit this summer, with his current contract set to expire in the summer of 2016.
Boateng joined Schalke in the summer of 2013, making 35 appearances in his first season at the Veltins-Arena.
But the ex-Portsmouth player has failed to score in 16 matches this campaign, and even lost his place in the starting line-up to Max Meyer in their 3-1 victory over Hoffenheim last Saturday.
It has now been noted that Roma are interested in bringing Boateng to Italy, with the 28-year-old having already plied his trade with city rivals AC.
