The New Patriotic Party is daring President Mahama to take his corruption fight seriously by investigating what they believe is a property acquisition spree of members in his government.

The charge formed part of the Minority’s own version of the State of the Nation Address presented at a press conference on Monday.

Minority leader Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu continued his Party’s accusation of corruption in government and tasked the President to “cast his eyes into his own household.”

He said 6 years in government, ministers, DCEs and government appointees have amassed properties at a scale that is questionable.

He mentioned fuel stations, hotels and hostels as some of the favoured properties of government appointees.

The Suame MP said his side is ready to release names of appointees with dubious property acquisitions if the President shows interest in going after the alleged corrupt persons.
