Stalemate: Kotoko play six league games without win as Medeama hold champions

Kumasi Asante Kotoko were held by Tarkwa based club Medeama SC in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The 1-1 draw played between Kotoko and Medeama in the game means the Ghana Premier League champions who are currently without a manager have also played six league games without a win.

Medeama took the game to their hosts Kotoko and made the first significant impact on the game with Benjamin Batture scoring to put the away side 1-0 up.

Kotoko managed to grab an equalizer which came via Ahmed Toure as both side pressed hard to find a winner in the game but could not.

Kotoko struggles in the league this season has seen them relieve manager Didi Mas-Ud Dramani of his duties but the expected wining of games for the Kumasi based club has not yet been realized.

The last league game champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko won was against Inter Allies at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
