Twenty-seven (27) players have been invited to the home-based Black Stars camp as the team prepares for the 2016 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers in June.
The first batch of players who have received call ups are expected to report at the team’s camp in Obuasi on Monday March 9 at 2pm.
The list of invited players is made up of four goalkeepers, seven defenders, eleven midfielders and five strikers including First Capital Premier League joint top scorer Mohammed Yakubu.
The 2016 CHAN will be held in Rwanda. Ghana finished runners-up to Libya on penalties in 2014 and would wish to improve on their previous performance.
