Ready to play: Black Satellites arrive in Senegal for African Youth Championship

The national U-2O team of Ghana, the Black Satellites have arrived at the Senegalese coastal city of Mbour, their Group B base for the African Youth Championship.

The Satellites arrived in Dakar on Thursday night from Turkey – where they had been training ahead of the tournament for the past two weeks, and proceeded straight to their base, about 70 kilometers from the capital.

The tournament kicks off on Sunday but the Satellites commence their campaign on Monday March 9, 2015 against South Africa. Coach Sellas Tetteh’s men will be looking forward to repeating their 2009 feat.

Mali and Zambia are the other teams in Ghana’s group.
