A Christian oriented movie, Life in a Tunnel, will start showing at the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday, March 14.
Coming from the makers of the One Praise TV show, Kreative Icon, Life in a Tunnel was written and directed by Newman Uche Eze.
The movie is scripted to mirror the struggles of the biblical Job in a more contemporary setting.
The movie follows the life of Betty played by Edem Demefe Dafeamekpor who for many years struggles single-handedly to raise three children after her lover absconds. Just when it seems like the storm is over, her lover (Tuga) shows up from nowhere to claim his children.
Her decision to deny him access will set into motion a series of events, which will leave everyone confused and test her faith.
Betty complicates things for herself and the family which lands her in jail and when the secret life she leads catches up with her it makes matters even worse. But God is a God of second chances.
How does Betty handle the second chance? At the end of the tunnel, will there be a light?
Life in a Tunnel, is a family movie with dozens of vital life lessons to unpack to its viewers. Movie lovers should expect an inspirational movie that will deepen their faith in Christ when gates open at the Conference Centre at 7:00 pm prompt.
The cast comprises actors such as: Edem Demefe Dafeamekpor, Nana Yaa Agyare, Nelson Ajala, Akosua Owusua, Ayeyi Atiemo, Phinehas Arthur, Jude Mate, Emmett Tumbay, Ninette Harding and Esmond W. Aggrey.
