Actress Kafui Danku is set to premiere her self-produced movie, I Do, on March 6 at the Silverbird Cinemas at the Accra Mall and West Hills Mall at Weija.

Produced by her ABC Pictures company, the movie features Van Vicker, Nana Ama McBrown, Kafui Danku, Jasmine Baroudi, Elikem Kumodzi, Roselyn Ngissah, Mawuli Gavor and others.

Written and directed by Kobby Rana, ‘I Do’ tells a story of love and the complexities that come with it.

Four couples have less than 24 hours to make or break up what they have just started and nobody can tell which of them will make it through.

In an interview with The Mirror, Kafui Danku said after producing two movies: Devil In a Dress and Happy Death Day, she was motivated to produce a simple love story Kobi Rana had told her.

Kafui, who is urging everyone to come for the movie premiere, said she was serious about becoming a big-time producer.

“I want to work with A-list actors in my movies. Though I know it is not easy, I believe I can make it with determination and hard work,” she said. Films Kafui has featured in include Today’s Women, Letters To My Mother, The Bachelors, Dream Of Chance, A Reason To Kill, 4 Play Reloaded and Announcement.
