Communication officer of Obuasi Ashantigold Sporting Club Kofi Yawson says the police have assured the club that they will bring perpetrators of Coach Bashiru Hayford’s theft case to book.
He said serious investigations are currently ongoing and the police and the family are cooperating to bring the suspects to book.
In an exclusive interview with sportscrusader.com, Mr Yawson commended the police and added that “the community members are also volunteering some information as well.”
He explained that one of the neighbors of Coach Bashiru owns a CCTV Camera and it has been helpful in the investigations.
On the current state of the club in relation to the sad incidence, the communication officer said there has been unconditional support of the management board towards their troubled coach.
“We are solidly behind him and wish him God’s guidance in these trying times and the supporters of the club are also praying for their head coach to turn his attention to the league to keep their position on the league table,” Mr Yawson added.
