Punished: Hearts suffer another fine for match delay

Hearts of Oak and Aduana have been fined an amount of One Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty Ghana Cedis (Gh¢1,250.00) each in relation to the Match day 9 game played at the Accra Stadium on Wednesday February 25.

The fine which is in line with Article 23.1(b) of the General Regulations of the GFA, was as a result of the reluctance of players of both teams to line-up in the tunnel for onward match unto the field of play which delayed the kick off (3:30pm) for five minutes.

Pursuant to article 39.8(b), should the clubs fail to pay the amount within fourteen (14) working days upon receipt of their letters, the necessary Disciplinary sanctions shall be applied.
