Ghanaian defender Ofosu Ayeh’s VFR Aalen crush out of DFB Pokal

Ghanaian defender Phil Ofosu-Ayeh’s VFR Aalen crushed out of the DFB Pokal after losing 2-0 to 1899 Hoffenheim.

The talented right-back played full throttle for the German second-tier as they bundled out at the Scholz Arena.

In the previous round the hosts produced a big upset defeating traditionsverein Hannover 96 2-0 whilst Hoffenheim overcame FSV Frankfurt with ease running out 5-1 winners at the Rhein-Neckar-Arena.

A goal from Eugen Polanski and Kevin Volland was enough to send 1899 Hoffenheim into the last eight of the DFB Pokal.

Aalen are struggling in the Bundesliga 11 and currently lie in the drop zone.
