50 Cent bets $1.6m on Mayweather beating Pacquiao

American rapper 50 Cent is betting $1.6million (£1million) on Mayweather beating Pacquiao on May 2, UK Daily Mail has reported.

50 Cent who goes by the real name Curtis Jackson told The Breakfast Club: “I got the champ,’ The champ gonna smoke him. It’s gonna look like [the fight] was pumped up for no reason.

The relationship between the rapper and the boxer turned soar after 50 Cent told Mayweather he would donate $750,000 to charity if the boxer managed to read a page of a Harry Potter book.

Mayweather responded by saying on twitter ”I’d be perfect at reading if it was how I had to feed my family.’ He also tweeted a picture of his two pay cheques of $70m to prove his wealth.

The pair have since had a frosty relationship.
But with the biggest fight in recent boxing history coming up, there is money to plaster the relationship as 50 Cent rallys support for his former business partner.
