1-0: Nsikulus goal separates Evian and Ayews Lorient


Jordan Ayew and his Lorient FC side were on the losing end in the Frech Ligue 1 on Wednesday night.

The Ghanaian travelled with his French club Lorient to play Jonathan Mensah’s  Evian Thonon Gaillard, a game which Ayew was given a start and went on to play in the full duration of the game.

Clarck Nsikulu scored the only goal of the game in the first half to secure all points for his Evian side as FC Lorient struggled to fight back but could not find the back of the net.

Jordan Ayew received a yellow card booking in the game with his international team mate Jonathan Mensah not having a chance to play in the game.

Lorient are just a place above the relegation zone with 31 points from 27 games. Evian Thonon Gaillard are in 16 position, one place above Lorient with 32 points from 27 games.
