Ethiopian Airlines, the largest airline in Africa, has been adjudged the Best Regional Airline of the Year at the 41st ATW Airline Industry Achievement Awards held in Washington DC, United States.

Tewolde GebreMariam, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ethiopian Airlines, commended Air Transport World (ATW) for the recognition.

‘I would like to thank Air Transport World for recognizing our efforts in one of the most difficult operating environments on the continent of Africa.

Established in 1974 to recognize excellence in the air transport industry, the ATW Airline Industry Achievement Awards is the most coveted honour an airline or individual can receive.

They are bestowed on individuals and organizations that have distinguished themselves through outstanding performance, innovation and superior service.

Flights To Mumbai
Ethiopian Airlines will begin double daily flights to Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in March, this year.

The double daily flights to Mumbai will be operated with the ultra-modern B787 Dreamliner aircraft, which offers passengers unparalleled on-board comfort, high ceiling and the latest in-flight entertainment system.
