Some members of the cast of hit Television series, “Suncity” aired on Ghana Television (GTV) came together on This Morning Show on Viasat 1 to share their experiences and how they got involved in the series.
Suncity, which started airing in 2003, had its main setting in a university environment and picked its stories from activities and occurrences on university campuses.
The television series gave a platform and good exposure to today’s hit movie actors and actresses including Van Vicker, Ekow Smith-Asante, late Suzzy Williams, Gavivina Tamakloe, Benjamin Kwadey among others.
Suncity had its main theme song composed by Amandzeba Nat Brew and gained most of its popularity from the youth who related easily to the campus focused theme of the television series.
