Everton manager Roberto Martinez has revealed that Ghana winger Christian Atsu is expected back in action for the Toffees in their English Premier League match-day 28 fixture against Stoke City on March 4.
The ex-Porto man has been ruled out of Sunday’s EPL away clash with Arsenal after suffering from a flu, which kept him out of the 3-1 Europa League triumph over Young Boys on Thursday.
“Christian has got flu symptoms, so he is going to be out of the squad to play Arsenal. I expect him to probably be available for the next game against Stoke,” Martinez said.
Atsu has so far made 4 Premier League appearances for Everton this season.
