Ghanaian defender Phil Ofosu-Ayeh played full throttle for VFR Aalen in their 2-0 defeat at Sandhausen to compound their relegation woes in the German second-tier on Saturday.
The soon-to-be Ghanaian international was booked in the 42 nd minute for a rough challenge on an opponent.
Aalen, lying in the relegation trap net were desperate for the maximum points but goals from Aziz Bouhaddouz and an own goal from Sascha Mockenhaupt piled more misery on the side.
The 23-year-old has been a real steel in defense for Aalen but a number of factors have conspired against their fine start to the season.
They currently lie 17 th on an 18 league table.
