Majeed Waris: Ghana striker to make injury comeback in 7 days

Majeed Waris could make his long-awaited comeback from injury in Trabzonspor’s clash with Mersin ?dmanyurdu on March 9.

The Ghanaian striker has been sidelined since he suffered an injury in December last year but returned to training this week.

The 23-year-old has started light work as he aims to regain full fitness with his schedule date expected to be next week.

Waris missed the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Equatorial Guinea due to the setback, his second major tournament which has eluded him.
