Italian club Cagliari have confirmed interest from English clubs Arsenal and Manchester City in midfielder Godfred Donsah.
According to club president Thomas Guilini, the English duo sent scouts to watch Cagliari midfielder Godfred Donsah in action,
“Manchester City are interested, but Arsenal scouts were at the game against Inter to watch him,” Giulini said.
Donsah – who joined the Serie A outfit in 2012 for £2million – has become a mainstay first-team this term, bagging two goals along the way.
Arsenal and City are expected to make summer bigs for Donsah after successful scouting trips, but Cagliari are keen to keep hold of him for at least another season.
Guilini added: “My intention is to keep him for at least one more year.
“Cagliari need to remain in Serie A so we can continue to help these young players grow.
“It would be beneficial for Donsah’s development to remain at Cagliari for another season.”
