Ex-Ghana striker Kim Grant says he has what it takes restore Kotoko as one of the most dreaded teams in Africa if he is handed the coaching job.

Grant, a former Charlton Athletic striker, is desperate to prove his mettle in the coaching profession and sees the hot seat of Kotoko as the perfect opportunity to exhibit his talent.

Kotoko are yet to appoint a new head coach since asking Mas-Ud Dramani to proceed on leave.

“Kotoko is the biggest club in Ghana and they have the facilities to be able to do well on the continent,” Grant told Citi FM.

“I believe when given the opportunity I can make Kotoko a very well feared side on the continent.”

Grant is currently the West Africa scout for the English Premier League side West Bromwich Albion.
