Phobia win: Hearts deserve to beat Aduana – Herbert Addo

Accra Hearts of Oak head coach, Herbert Addo has said that his team deserve the three points secured at the Accra sports stadium on Match day nine of the First Capital Plus Bank premier league.

The Phobians won their first game of the season at the Accra sports stadium against Aduana Stars in midweek.  And Herbert Addo said the game would have been easier if all his key players were available for selection.

“We played a very good game and deserve to win,” the former Inter Allies boss said after a hard fought 3-2 win over Aduana Stars.  “Of course, I hope the winning streak will continue.” He added.

Hearts were without key players Shaun October and Sellasie Adjei. Addo believes their presence would have made the game easier for them.

“Well, I think there are some players who were not able to play this week because of cautions,  and in a team, one or two players makes a difference and these two players (Adjei and October) make the difference.

“If they were in today, it would have been easier game. They were not in and somebody else had to play. We go to As Police, they will be there. So I hope that we raise our game and do the do there.”

Hearts of Oak move out of the relegation zone to 12 place on the First Capital Plus Bank premier league log after the win.
