Hiplife icon, Michael Elliot Kwabena Okyere-Darko, aka Obrafour, has been invited to perform at the maiden edition of GhanaFest RVA in Virginia, USA, on March 6, 2015 as part of activities lined up to celebrate Ghana’s Independence Day celebration.
The event, which is expected to attract a large number of Ghanaians in the States, would be historic, and Obrafour is expected to surprise his fans with some of his best tunes.
The three-day event would commence with a cultural exhibition on March 6 and 8, youth rally on March 6 and a food festival on March 7.
‘It’s to showcase our Ghanaian music, art, culture and dance to the residents of Richmond Virginia and beyond,’ Lois Yankah said.
Continuing, she added that ‘Obrafour will be giving a talk on recording, writing and performing music during the day on Friday, March 6 before performing to all patrons who will be attending the independence celebration at Altria Theatre in the evening.’
The event would be hosted by Sheilah Belle from Praise FM in Richmond Virginia.
