A 38-year-old worker with the Zoomlion Company Limited, Mr Francis Am Ulley, is aspiring to become the assembly member for the Botokule Electoral Area in the Nzema East Municipality of the Western Region.

He promises to make sanitation his primary focus and mobilise resources to transform the area.

He said insanitary conditions in the area were a major factor in the perennial ill-health of people in the area, particularly among the youth, who are the future leaders of the community.

In this direction, Mr Ulley desires to foster communal spirit among the people, such that it would lead to improved sanitation in the area.

He said he was confident of succeeding in the fight against insanitary conditions because as a worker with a waste management company, he had acquired the skills to execute the job and that for so many years he had devoted himself to communal service.

The aspiring assembly member said he would co-operate with all interest groups, including the district assembly, and opinion leaders to ensure that his vision of a clean and disease-free environment was realised for the people of Botokule.

He, therefore, appeals to voters to take keen interest in the district assembly elections and come out in their numbers to vote for him.
