CAF Confederation Cup: Hearts of Oak leave Accra for Benin


Accra Hearts of Oak departed Accra (the club’s secretariat) to Benin on Thursday afternoon (12:28pm) for the second leg fixture against AS Police in the 12th Edition of the CAF Confederation Cup.

The  Phobians won the first leg 1-0 a fortnight ago, thanks to Selasi Adjei’s 46th minute strike. Herbert Addo’s men will have to battle the Beninese side AS Police on Saturday (28th February, 2015) in Cotonou for a qualification into the next stage of the competition.

Hearts of Oak left Accra with a 30 man contingent which comprised of 20 players, 6 technical men and 4 officials. Thd team travelled by road. The leader of delegation that led the team to Benin is GFA executive Committee Member, Eddy Doku.
