Do or die: Hearts of Oak ready for Aduana Stars challenge


Hearts of Oak will have to beat Aduana Stars in other to put smiles on the faces of their teeming fans at the Accra Sports stadium on Wednesday on match day 9 of the ongoing First Capital Plus Bank Premier League.

MATCH PREVIEW:
Hearts of Oak is yet to win a game in Accra after returning to their favorite home ground following a 2 home match ban imposed on them. Aduana Stars this season have been so powerful when they play at home but look vulnerable picking only one win in their 4 away games. The Phobians in their last two games have failed to pick a point as the head of the side Herbert Addo is seriously under pressure to deliver and a win against Aduana Stars will lift them from the relegation zone. (The Phobians currently sit at the 15th position)

The Dorman based club in the ongoing season can boost of a good defensive network as against Hearts of Oak defense which have been porous conceding 13 goals in 8 games. The Phobians will go into the game without the services of 6 players – Seidu Mutawkilu and Owusu Bempa( In U20 camp in Turkey), Keneth Okoro, Emmnauel Hayford and Thomas Abbey( Due to their respective injuries),Richard Yamoah serving a one match suspension for picking three yellow cards while Aduana Stars have no injury concerns nor suspension.

Hearts of Oak have battled Aduana Stars 10 times since the Dormaa based club’s promotion into the Ghana Premier League in the 2009/10 league season.

The Phobians have won 4, lost 1 and drawn 5,  11 goals have been scored in this fixture with Hearts of Oak striking 7 times as against Aduana Stars 4.
