Goalless: Gyan and Awal Mohammed share spoils in Asian Champions League

Black Stars captain Asamaoh Gyan was in action on Tuesday against Ghana internationals Awal Mohammed and John Antwi in the Asian Champions League on Tuesday.

Gyan’s Al Ain entertained Mohammed and Antwi’s Al Shabab at the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in a game that saw both sides unable to break each other’s strong defence.

The two sides ended the game in a goalless draw to share the points in the second game of Group B after Pakhtakor beat Naft Tehran 2-1 earlier.

Asamoah Gyan and Awal Mohammed played in the full duration of the game while John Antwi was replaced by Naif Hazazi in the 67 minute. Awal Mohammed was the only Ghanaian in the game who received a booking.
