It was then agreed that the derby be postponed to Tuesday, February 24th at the same Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris.

It also means that Sampdoria’s next Serie A game is also affected, the match day 25 Atalanta-Sampdoria (Boakye Yiadom vrs Afriyie Acquah) clash initially set for Saturday, February 28 is postponed to Sunday, March 1.

Acquah whose debut ended in defeat at Chievo Verona on February 15, has vowed to not only help Sampdoria secure a first victory in five games to revive their European qualification hopes, but also score his first goal for the club.
