Nyako’s Son, Abdul’Aziz Released By EFCC, Says APC Will Win Adamawa

AbdulAzeez-NyakoAbdul’Aziz Nyako, son of former governor of Adamawa State, Murtala Nyako, who was recently released from detention by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has vowed that nothing would deter the All Progressives Congress (APC) from its mission to liberate the country.

Speaking at the APC secretariat in Yola, the state capital, shortly after his reception at the Yola International Airport by some supporters at the weekend, Abdul’Aziz, who is the senatorial candidate of the APC for Adamawa Central, said his party was poised to wrest power from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

You may recall that Abdul’Aziz was picked up by EFCC operatives in Gombe and flown to Abuja, where he was quizzed on a N15 billion money laundering allegation during the days of his father as Executive Governor of Adamawa State.

“Our party cannot be intimidated; our intention is to win the presidential election and win all seats in Adamawa, including governorship, three senatorial seats, House of Representatives and 25 state assembly seats”, he said.

Abdul’Aziz, therefore, called on APC supporters to redouble their efforts to ensure the success of the party’s candidates to enable the party lift Nigerians out of their present social and economic problems.
