Godfred Donsah is up and lacing his boots again for another crack at Serie A action as Cagliari prepare to host giants, Inter Milan tonight.
The 18 year old’s profile keeps blossoming by the day after breaking into Giafranco Zola’s first team and will make his 8th straight start in the Italian top flight on Monday night that concludes match day 24.
Donsah has already generated interest from English Premier League sides, Manchester City and Tottenham but it’s believed Liverpool lead the race to snatch him away from Cagliari in the summer.
But first Donsah is focused on the job at hand tonight at the Stadio Sant’Elia as Cagliari look to move up from the relegation zone with three points against an Inter side also looking to bolster their recent good run of two straight wins in Serie A.
Cagliari currently occupy the 18th and last relegation zone, three points behind 17th placed Atalanta and could upstage Richmond Boakye Yiadom’s side with all three points against Inter.
And for Donsah who has already struck two goals for Cagliari, tonight is another opportunity to excel against a top side with the world watching as he continues to build his reputation.
“Flying over for the game, no disappointment against Inter,” Donsah’s agent, Oliver Arthur told Allsports.com.gh exclusively on the plane to Cagliari where he will be in the stands for the Serie A game. Follow @thedonplato
