Former Hearts of Oak and AshantiGold SC Coach, David Duncan, has told DailySoccerGhana.com in an exclusive interview that his pressing family commitments is why he has not taken up another foreign coaching job.

The ex-Black Starlets trainer has not handled any foreign football club since leaving Free State Stars in 2009 after leading the South African PSL side to win the Phakisa Cup at the expense of Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.

“The time for that is not yet due. A few domestic things have to get out of the way, especially with family. I have to be within reach because at this time, I cannot be a non-resident father,” Coach Duncan told DailySoccerGhana.com in an exclusive interview.

Coach Duncan, who joined Great Olympics on a short stint during the pre-season period, has now become a hot favorite for the Asante Kotoko coaching job, though he claims he has not been contacted by the club to commence negotiations.
