Ghana defender Baba Rahman’s Swiss goalkeeper team-mate Marwin Hitz is going to remember this weekend for a long, long time.

The Augsburg goalkeeper joined the goalmouth fray late in Augsburg’s 2-2 draw with Bayer Leverkusen, taking advantage of fortuitous bounce off an unwitting defender to tap a 90th-minute volley into the goal.

The draw enabled Augsburg to stay two points ahead of Bayer in the race for European football. Augsburg is fifth with 35 points, while Bayer is sixth with 33.
