First Lady presents laboratory equipment to Ashaiman Polyclinic

Ashaiman (G/R), Feb. 21, GNA – The First Lady, Mrs Lordina Mahama, on Thursday presented laboratory equipment to the Ashaiman Polyclinic.

The cost of the items which were not disclosed were donations from the Lordina Foundation, a non-governmental orgainsation.

They include laboratory working gears such as gloves, sterilizers and syringes.

Presenting the equipment, Mrs Lordina Mahama advised the staff of the Polyclinic to take good care of the equipment.

Dr William Darko, the Municipal Health Director, who received the items on behalf of the health facility expressed gratitude to the First Lady and her Foundation for the gesture.

The First Lady was accompanied by the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Nii Laryea Afotey-Agbo, the Member of Parliament for Ashaiman, Mr Alfred Agbesi, and the Municipal Chief Executive Mr Ibrahim Baidoo and some staff of the Lordina Foundation.

Nii Laryea Afotey-Agbo pledged his outfit’s support for the Ashaiman Polyclinic.
