Former New Edubiase United centre back Carlos Koffie has joined division one outfit Real Athletico on a short term deal. Koffie, who is a free agent, finalized the deal with the Tema-based side early this week. He told that he is aiming to use his spell to keep fit, as well as trying to help his new club win promotion to the Premier League.

“It is a team that is close to me, so when I left New Edubiase United I made up my mind to join them. I will play for them for the next six months.

“I want to help them win promotion to the Premier League. That is one main reason why I joined them, and also to gain match fitness. I am happy to be here. I know there are a lot of talents here.’’
