Richmond Boakye Yiadom’s future is on the line this evening when he leads on-loan club, Atalanta to the Juventus Stadium to face the Italian champions who sent him out on loan in a Serie A match day 24 clash.
Boakye Yiadom spent the first year as a Juventus player on loan at Elche in Spain before getting sent to Serie A rivals, Atalanta at the beginning of this season as he seeks to convince Juventus chiefs that his future belongs at the Juventus Stadium.
But keen to keep him are Atalanta who maintain a 50% stake in the player with Juventus also keeping the remaining 50% share on the Ghanaian striker.
At the end of this season, one of the clubs would definitely have to buy the player 100% because Italian law allows a club to own 50% of the player for only two years so it appears Boakye’s performance in tonight’s game will determine who buys the player in full.
The striker who has made 15 appearances for Atalanta this term, scoring 3 goals is expected to feature start tonight’s game, Allsports.com.gh sources confirm.
Boakye Yadom will also enjoy the pleasure of support at the Juventus Stadium from none other than his agent, Oliver Arthur who is currently in Italy monitoring his stable of talented players.
“I will be in the stands to support you against Juventus, make me proud as always,” Agent Arthur has told the player. Follow @thedonplato
