Electoral officials attend training workshops

Hohoe, Feb 20, GNA – The Electoral Commission has started training officials who would conduct the district level elections in the the Hohoe Municipal and Afadzato District.

Mr Kwabena Karikari, the Hohoe Municipal Electoral Officer with oversight responsibility for the   Afadzato District, told the GNA in an interview that about 800 electoral officials would participate in the exercise and it would take two days.

He said 84 and 54 aspirants are vying for positions as assembly-members in Hohoe Municipal and Afadzato Districts respectively.

Mr Karikari said the elections would be conducted in 30 and 22 polling stations in Hohoe and Afadzato. GNA EN-GB X-NONE X-NONE
