Ghana midfielder Uriah Asante capped his man of the match display with a goal as his Tunisian club EGS Gafsa posted a 2-1 win over struggling Metlaoui in the Ligue 1.
The 22-year-old doubled Gafsa’s lead in the 58th minute after Haythem Mhamedi had opened the scoring in added on time of the first half.
Metlaoui reduced the deficit through Jomaa-khelif on 84 minutes.
Asante’s EGS Gafsa are now 12th on the league table six points off the relegation mark.
